Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to use AugStudy. By using the Service you confirm that you are 13 or older and that the information you give us is accurate. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Don't share your account or let others use it. Tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

You keep ownership of the notes, decks, cards, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you (for example, saving your decks and generating study material you ask for).

You're responsible for Your Content. Don't upload anything illegal, harmful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. If you share a deck publicly, you're allowing other users to view and copy it within the Service.

When using AugStudy, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to inflate XP, gems, streaks, ranks, or battle results.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Upload malware or content that violates the law or others' rights.

If you break any of these Terms, AugStudy reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove your content, restrict features, ban or permanently delete your account, and pursue any legal action required to protect the Service, its users, or its rights.

AugStudy includes virtual items and currency (gems, XP, hearts, pets, badges, and similar). These are a limited, personal licence to use features within the Service. They have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be sold or transferred outside the Service. We may adjust, expire, or remove virtual items as part of running and balancing the game. Except where the law requires otherwise, virtual items are non-refundable.

AugSuper is an optional paid membership. When you subscribe through the App Store, Google Play, or Ko-fi, that provider handles billing under their terms. Store subscriptions may renew automatically until you cancel them, which you do through that store's subscription settings. Prices and included perks may change over time; we'll make material changes clear before they take effect.

Some features use AI to generate flashcards, summaries, study plans, and chat responses. AI can be wrong or incomplete. The output is a study aid, not professional advice, and you should verify anything important. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.

We work hard to keep AugStudy running well, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and we can't guarantee the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AugStudy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or progress arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using AugStudy and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account, or augstudy.ca/data-deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. When an account is deleted, associated data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms.

AugStudy is developed and operated from Canada, and is available to users around the world, including the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. It's your responsibility to make sure using the Service is lawful where you live, and to follow any local laws that apply to you.

Except where the mandatory law of your country or region gives you rights that can't be waived, these Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This choice of law does not remove any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory law of your home country.
